Recalls Fighters

Michigan District of Workmen's Circle-
Arbeter Ring will hold its annual public
commemoration of the Warsaw Ghetto-
Uprising with music, readings and a
principal speaker 7:30-8:30 p.m.
Saturday, April 19, at the Workmen's
Circle Educational Center, 26341
Coolidge Road, Oak Park.
The evening will begin with a candle-
lighting to remember the Six Million,
presented by Aaron Egan of Detroit, the
grandson of a Holocaust survivor, and
Justin Pollack of Huntington Woods.
Charlie Davidson of Royal Oak will be
the speaker, and Laurie Brown of
Ferndale, Leon Levitt of Dearborn and
Esther Allweiss Tschirhart of Oak Park
will give readings. The Circle Chorus
will lead songs under the direction of
Helene Lorber of Huntington Woods.

Guardian

B'nai B'rith Great Lakes
Region will confer its
international Guardian Woronoff
of the Menorah Award
on Ralph Woronoff at a fund-raising
dinner Sunday, April 27, at the Links at
Pinewood, Commerce. He's being hon-
ored for his service to Jews and non-
Jews alike. The cost is $50 per person;
proceeds benefit B'nai B'rith humanitar-

Science, Art
Camps For Kids

The Jewish Community Center of
Metropolitan Detroit will offer one-
week science and art camps for first-
through sixth-graders in Imagitivity.
The camps run from June 23-Aug. 14
in one-week sessions. Three camps are
offered each week. Door-to-door trans-
portation is offered for all Imagitivity
campers within the bus route.
All these camps are held at the JCC
in Oak Park. Shuttles are available each
morning from the building in West
Bloomfield. For information or a com-
