lunches from $7-$9.50 for seafood,
poultry, meat or vegetarian entrees ...
including choice of soup, choice of egg
or spring roll, choice of steamed or veg-
etable fried rice.
Much of the food at W.O.W is from
Hong Kong recipes that have been hid-
den away by Raymond ... like filet
Hong Kong style in a wok with pepper
or barbecue sauce and sesame oil ... and
steamed whole cut-up chicken with shi-
itake mushrooms.
The long alabaster bar with its light-
ed top and mirrored back wall is a
standout ... As are the many Oriental

with handmade colored stained glass,

burgundy velvet drapes, mirrored wall,
mahogany walls, etc.
Seating at W.O.W is 150 in the din-

decor surrounds white linen tablecloths
and white linen napkins.
Rooftop dining, expected to open
before the end of April, has seating for
an additional 97.

August 2001 ... There is a sign on top
of the building, but another main
sign isn't expected until later this
year.
The colorful presentation of each
dish is striking, with a very obvious
know-how presence ... As executive
chef at Mon Jin Lau in Troy prior to
W.O.W., Raymond was noted for his
premier appearance of food.
A number of folks even now don't
know too much about W.O.W ... or
that it is even ready.
W.O.W is ready ... and a restaura-

success.
