style with a peanut sauce, is a wonder-

seafood items are $14, shrimp with lob-
ster sauce, $15 ... eight vegetarian dish-

specials like pan-seared yellow fin tuna

W.O.W. is a seven-day-a-week restau-

Raymond says he is the first to intro-
duce the very popular lettuce wrap ...
which he serves accompanied with any
meat, vegetable or seafood ... begun by
him in the 1970s at his Yummy House
in Windsor ... He also has a lettuce
wrap with sun-dried oysters, water
chestnuts, bamboo shoots and shiitake
mushrooms chopped together and
wrapped in the lettuce, $10.
One of the most requested items at
Wong's Eatery in Windsor, was
steamed or stir-fry lobsters ... They are
also big at W.O.W., 1 lb. $20; 5 lbs.

He is noted, too, for customizing a
meal to include whatever a customer
feels like eating.
W.O.W. buys very few things already
made ... It makes its own crispy soup
noodles, shrimp balls, shrimp paste,
sauces, etc.
People love the Lake Winnipeg pick-
erel, whole and filleted in miso sauce,
$14 ... and the whole squab, braised or
crispy, $14.
