Geoff Kretchmer named President & Partner

child of the late Florence and Dave
Muskovitz. A seventh-grade honor
student at West Hills Middle School
in Bloomfield Hills, Amy enjoys
dancing, swimming, playing basket-
ball and spending summers at
Tamarack Camps. Her most meaning-
ful mitzvah project was volunteering
at Yad Ezra in Berkley.

Louis Scott
Rappaport will be
called to the Torah as
a bar mitzvah on
Saturday, April 5, at
Adat Shalom
Synagogue. He is the
son of Ilene and
David Marton and
Mark Rappaport.
Sharing in the joy will be his sisters
and brothers, Megan and Matthew
Rappaport, Dana and Kevin Marton.
Proud grandparents are Rose Bankler
and Pearl Marton. Louis is also the
grandson of the late Sam Bankler.
An honor student at Walled Lake
Middle School, Louis loves spending
summers at Tamarack Camps with his
friends. Some of his hobbies are in-
line skating, playing baseball and
video games, playing drums and
working on the computer. He is an
avid Univeristy of Michigan fan. As
part of his mitzvah projects, Louis
volunteered at Yad Ezra in Berkley
and at Fleischman Residence in West
Bloomfield.

Julie Michelle
Schubiner will be
called to the Torah as
a bat mitzvah on
Saturday, April 5, at
Congregation Beth
Shalom. She is the
daughter of Elizabeth
and Steven Schubiner and sister of
Andrea. Proud grandparents are Janet
and Irwin Robinson of Riverdale,
N.Y., and Barbara and Sheldon
Schubiner.
Julie is an honor student at Hillel
Day School of Metropolitan Detroit
in Farmington Hills. She plays on
Hillel Day School of Metropolitan
Detroit's girls tennis and basketball
teams and has played softball for the
Birmingham girls league for six years.
For her mitzvah project, Julie partici-
pated in the Friendship Circle as a
mother's helper and visited with
JARC residents at the Samuels House.

Steven Phillip Siegel will lead the
service and read from the Torah on
the occasion of his bar mitzvah

Saturday, April 5, at
Temple Beth El.
Participating will be
his parents, Dr. Les
and Ellen Siegel, his
brothers Michael and
Eric and his grand-
parents Robert Lesser
and Beverly and
Lewis Siegel. He is also the grandson
of the late Elaine H. Lesser and the late
Lois R. Lesser.
The honor student at Cranbrook
Kingswood Middle School in
Bloomfield Hills likes football, basket-
ball, skiing and playing the drums; he
is in the advanced band at Cranbrook.
He served food at the Baldwin Church.
in Pontiac, recorded books on tape for
the blind at Orchards Children's
Services and volunteered at Children's
Leukemia Foundation of Michigan.

Ethan Slabosky of
East Lansing will be
called to the Torah as
a bar mitzvah on
Saturday, April 5, at
Congregation Kehillat
Israel in Lansing. He
is the son of Arthur
Slabosky and Robin
Willner, the grandson of Toby
Slabosky of Knoxville, Tenn., and the
late Louis Slabosky and of the late
Henry and Frieda Willner. Along with
his brother Gabriel, Ethan will cele-
brate with friends and family from
around the country and Jerusalem.
Ethan is an honor student at
MacDonald Middle School in East
Lansing. His interests include cross-
country running, music and reading.

Jordan Scott
Weisman will cele-
brate his bar mitzvah
on Saturday, April 5,
at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek
Southfield. His
proud parents are
Brad and Denise
Weisman; he is brother to Brooke
and Austin. Equally proud are grand-
parents Simon and Sandy Cook and
Dorothy Weiss.
Jordan attends Sarah Banks Middle
School in Wixom, where he is an
honor student. He is assistant captain
of his in-line hockey team and plays
on a house team. He also enjoys .bas-
ketball,- computers and music. His
most memorable mitzvah projects
were helping at Shaarey Zedek's
Camp Betman and raising money to
help cure diabetes.
