Fund-Raiser Aids Accident Victim Mark Herman, a 27-year-old West Bloomfield native and graduate of North Farmington High School and Eastern Michigan University, was the victim of a devastating weighlifting accident in .March 2001. A chest press bar crushed his 4th and 5th cervical vertebrae, leav- ing him a quadriplegic with complete paralysis from his shoulders down. Before his accident, he was pursuing his lifelong dream of acting and comedy. He was also a writer, director and co- producer of Full Body Wig, a sketch comedy program that aired on PBS in Chicago.
