The Center for Jewish Healing is devel- oping an adult Jewish drumming group led by Rabbi Danny Nevins, spiritual leader of Adat Shalom Synagogue. The six-week group, which begins 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 10, will combine Torah study with the opportunity to experience the healing powers of drum- ming. Studies indicate that drumming improves blood pressure and pulse rate while relieving tension. Drums will be available for those who pre-register.
