A Taste Of

Purim

urim was celebrated in style by Jews throughout the community.
Chabad of Commerce celebrated with lots of noise and costumes
as they gathered in Chabad's Richardson Center to hear the
megillah read.
Yeshivat Akiva nursery students sang songs and ate hamentashen with
adults in Jewish Vocational Service's Dorothy and Peter Brown Jewish
Community Adult Day Care Program. More than 30 costumed students
participated.
At Congregation Beth Ahm, mishloach manot Purim goodie plates
were decorated by children and piled high with kosher treats for delivery
to the Regent Street Senior Residence in West Bloomfield, where Beth
Ahm families sang holiday songs and shared Purim joy with the resi-
dents.
