Saidman.
Marla is an honor student at Orchard
Lake Middle School in West
Bloomfield. Her favorite activities
include tennis, art, kayaking, computers
and spending summers at Camp
George in Canada. Her most meaning-
ful mitzvah projects included helping
with Spotties Book Club, working as an
aide at Temple Beth El and spending
two years working as a peer pal in a
classroom for autistic children.

Devin Brett Weiss will be called to
the Torah as a bar
mitzvah on Saturday,
March 29, at
Congregation
Shaarey Zedek
Southfield. Sharing
in this special day
will be his parents,
Arthur Weiss and
Gayle Weiss; sib-
lings, Layne, Logan and Taylor; and
grandparents Mala Dorfman, Michael
and Lilly Weiss. He is also the grand-
son of the late Henry Dorfman and
the late Lili Weiss and brother of the
late Brandon Weiss.
Devin is an honor student at Hillel
Day School of Metropolitan Detroit
in Farmington Hills. He enjoys play-
ing basketball, golf and tennis, and
loves summers at Camp Tanuga in
Kalkaska. His mitzvah projects
included visiting residents at
Fleischman Residence in West
Bloomfield and at a JARC home.
Devin also volunteered at the Shaarey
Zedek Beth Hayeled summer camp.

Alexandra Nicole White will be called
to the Torah as a bat
mitzvah on. Saturday,
March 29, at
Congregation B'nai
Moshe. She is the
daughter of Bob and
Hillary White and
sister of Philip.
Proud grandparents
are Bernard
Schwartz of Farmington Hills and
Barbara White of Milton, Mass.
Alexandra attends Orchard Lake
Middle School in West Bloomfield,
where she is an honor student. She
enjoys art, music and literature. For
her mitzvah project, Alexandra volun-
teered at the Jewish Community
Center in West Bloomfield for the
Jewish Federation of Metropolitan
Detroit.
