ny bands at Orchard
Lake Middle School in West Bloomfield,
where he is an honor student. He also •
played basketball on the OLMS seventh-
grade team. In addition to music and
sports, Brandon's interests include the
computer and attendingTamarack
Camps. Among his most meanin
mitzvah projects was a 6K walk to raise
funds for the American Liver Foundation
and donating books to the Gift of
Reading Program sponsored by the
Detroit Free Press.
Ellie Rae Lederman,
daughter of Debra
and Ronald
Lederman, will be
called to the Torah as
a bat mitzvah on
Saturday, March 29,
at Adat Shalom
Synagogue. Her
brother Ryan, sister Jamie and grandpar-
ents Deanna and Robert Greenberg,
Rochelle and Robert Lederman will share
in the simchah.
Ellie is an honor student at West Hills
Middle School in Bloomfield Hills. She
loves sports, particularly tennis. She also
enjoys the computer, music, dance, sum-
mer camp and spending time with
friends. As part of her mitzvah project,
she worked with a special child through
the Friendship Circle.
Lauren Jerry Mondry,
daughter of Diane
and Mitchell Mondry,
will celebrate her bat
mitzvah Saturday,
March 29, at Temple
Israel. She is the sister
of Adam and Jason.
Sharing the simchah
will be proud grandparents Selma
Bremen, Sheila and Eugene Mondry and
great-grandmother Thelma Farber. She is
also the granddaughter of the late Jerome
Bremen.
Lauren is an honor student at Derby
Middle School in Birmingham. She
especially likes to dance, act, sing, water-
ski and perform forensics. Her most
meaningful mitzvah project was organiz-
ing a drive to knit caps for kids with can-
cer who are undergoing chemotherapy.
Augusta Rose
Morrison (Shoshana)
will be called to the
Torah as a bat mitzvah
on Saturday, March
29, at Congregation
Beth-Shalom. She is
the daughter of
Deborah Roberts and
David Morrison of Huntington Woods
and sister of Ariella, Isabella and Lilly.
Her grandparents are Paula and Eugene
Roberts and the late Abraham and Hilda..
Morrison..
Augusta is a student at Norup Middle
School in Oak Park. She is in the eighth-
grade orchestra and is secretary of the
student council. She has performed on
the violin for six years and excels in soc-
cer, basketball and biking. For her mitz-
vah project through Beth Shalom,
Augusta visited the American House for
seniors in Southfield, volunteered for the
Kadima fall fix-up and recently helped to
host the homeless of South Oakland
Shelter when they were at Beth Shalom.

Avery Charles
Neuman will be called
to the Torah as a bar
mitzvah on Saturday,
March 29, at
Congregation Beth
Ahm. He is the son of
Lauren and Harry
Neuman and brother
of Marissa. Sharing in the joy will be his
proud grandparents Rose and Sidney
Neuman and Jan and Richard Boyer.
Avery is also the great-grandson of the
•late Sonia Reznik.
Avery is a seventh-grade honor student
at Orchard Lake Middle School in West
Bloomfield. His interests include base-
ball, skiing, in-line hockey and spending
time with family and friends. He is also
involved in the BBYO Teen Connection.
Avery's ongoing mitzvah project involves
participation in the Friendship Circle,
which provides support to families with
challenged children.

at Temple Beth El.
Helping her to cele-
brate this special occasion will be her
grandparents Mark and Merrill
Saidman and Bob and Judee Sternberg.
She is very lucky to also have her great-
