Food Parcels
For Passover
The Moies Chetim Organization of
Detroit and Yad Ezra, the state's only
kosher food pantry, have joined for a
special Passover campaign to distribute
food packages to more than 1,100
needy Jewish families.
The Passover food distribution is
scheduled for: Sunday, April 6, 9 a.m.-4
p.m., and Monday, April 7, 2:30-6:30
p.m. at Yad Ezra's warehouse, 2850 W
11 Mile Road, Berkley.
Volunteers and board members from
Yad Ezra will distribute the food pack-
ages containing items necessary for a
Passover seder. The Agency for Jewish
Education donated Passover guides
printed in Russian and English and
English/Hebrew hagaddot. Mike Balkin
and Balkin Product secured the boxes.
