called to the Torah
on the occasion of
her bat mitzvah
Saturday, March 22, at Temple
Israel. She is the grandchild of
Dorothy and Herbert Reinheimer
and Sema and Sam Yarost and the
late Elaine Yarost.
Julie attends Warner Middle
School in Farmington Hills. She is
interested in sailing, swimming,
tubing, waterskiing, horseback rid-
ing, singing and reading. She volun-
teered to work at Temple Israel's
Labor Day picnic and took her dog
to the West Bloomfield
Convalescent Center to visit with
residents.

Aaron Seth Robins
will be called to the
Torah as a bar mitz-
vah on Saturday,
March 22, at Adat
Shalom Synagogue.
His parents, Elaine
and Robert Robins,
sister Jessica and
brother Matthew as well as grand-
parents Gertrude Burstyn and
Adelle and Simon Robins will share
in the joy of this special occasion.
Aaron is also the grandson of the
late Morris Burstyn.
Aaron is a seventh-grade honor
student at Hillel Day School of
Metropolitan Detroit in Farmington
Hills. He enjoys travel with his fam-
ily and spending summers at
Tamarack Camps. His favorite activ-
ities are basketball, hockey and
water sports as well as being a spec-
tator at any sporting event.
Volunteering with Farmington
Hills-based JARC has been most
meaningful. A trip to Israel is
planned in celebration of the bar
mitzvah.

Benjamin Jacob
Rothenberg, son of
Andi and Marc
Rothenberg, will cel-
ebrate his bar mitz-
vah Saturday, March
22, at Temple Israel.
His sister Kari and
grandparents Bea
and Iry Vinokour

and Marilyn and Melvin
Rothenberg will share in the sim-
chah.
Benjamin is an honor student at
Orchard Lake Middle School in
West Bloomfield, where he plays on
the seventh-grade basketball team.
He also enjoys skateboarding, play-
ing the guitar and spending sum-
mers at Tamarack Camps.
Volunteering at Yad Ezra in Berkley
was his most meaningful mitzvah
project.

Geoffrey Rottman,
son of Anne and Dr.
Michael Rottman,
will be called to the
Torah as a bar mitz-
vah on Saturday,
March 22, at
Congregation B'nai
Moshe. His brother,
Brandon, will share in the simchah.
Proud grandparents are Millie Serra,
Tiby and Gene Rottman. Geoffrey
is also the grandson of the late
Anthony Serra.
Geoffrey attends Hillel Day
School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. His favorite activ-
ities include skiing, skateboarding,
intramural basketball, water-skiing
and wakeboarding. He enjoys sum-
mers at Camp Walden in
Cheboygan with his friends. As part
of his mitzvah project, Geoffrey
donated to and volunteered at Yad
Ezra in Berkley and at the American
Red Magen David for Israel annual
diner.

Elizabeth Maureen
Sandler (Esther
Nachama) will be
called to the Torah as
a bat mitzvah on
Saturday, March 22,
at Temple Shir
Shalom. She is the
daughter of Kathleen
and Michael Sandler
and sister of David Bauman and his
wife, Jill Garrison. She is the grand-
daughter of the late Jean and Dr.
Nathan Sandler and the late Maureen
and Robert Molloy.
Liz is an honor student at West
Hills Middle School in Bloomfield
Hills, where her favorite subjects are
English and art. She enjoys basketball,
swimming, reading and interior
design. Her favorite mitzvah project
was helping with the second-graders
at religious school on Sundays. She
also enjoyed helping at Yad Ezra in
Berkley.
