Clark Adam Engelson
of Southfield will be
bar mitzvah at Temple
Emanu-El on Saturday,
March 22. He is the
son of Jo Ann and Eric
and brother of
Meredith. Proud
grandparents are Dora
Borinstein and Charlotte and William
Engelson. He is also the grandson of the
late Morris Borinstein.
Clark is a seventh-grade student at
Berkshire Middle School in
Birmingham. He enjoys computers,
swimming, bike riding and spending
time with family and friends. For his
mitzvah project, Clark worked at the
Baldwin Public Library in Birmingham.
He also volunteered to work at Grace
Centers of Hope in Pontiac on Martin
Luther King Jr. Day, organizing and sort-
ing canned goods as well as serving lunch
to the homeless.

Melanie Ashley Lubin,
daughter of Shelley
Kunin and Donald
Lubin, will celebrate.
her bat mitzvah during
Havelalczh services at
Temple Israel Saturday,
March 22. She is the
grandchild of the late
Seymour Kunin and
Beverly Elaine Kunin.
Melanie is an honor student as well as
a member of the yearbook staff and stu-
dent council at Warner Middle School in
Farmington Hills. She enjoys dance, soft-
ball and Tamarack Camps. As part of her
mitzvah project, she helped at temple
during the housing of the homeless; for
several years, she has also volunteered at
Mitzvah Day sponsored by the Jewish
Federation of Metropolitan Detroit.

Lindsey Moss will cele-
brate her bat mitzvah
Saturday, March 22, at
Temple Kol Ami. She
is the daughter of
Carol and Leonard
Moss, sister of
Matthew and the
granddaughter of Rose
and Irving Tesler and the late Mollie and
Herman Moss.
Lindsey is an honor student at
Orchard Lake Middle School in West
Bloomfield, where she participates in
musical theater and choir. She will also
attend Tamarack Camps for the fifth year
this coming summer. For her mitzvah
project, Lindsey worked with pre-school
children at the Jewish Community
Center in West Bloomfield.
