"Behind the Headlines: An Insider's 40k, View of the War on Dr. Sabi Terrorism" will begin at Shabtai 7:30 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center, 2935 Birch Hollow Drive, Ann Arbor. A native Israeli, Dr. Shabtai served in the intelligence branch of the Israel Defense Forces and was a member of the Israeli Foreign Service. He earned his doctorate at the University of Chicago and has taught political science at several universities. Since 9-11, he has been working closely with various law enforcement and intelligence agencies, assisting them in their pursuit of the suspects and in the prevention of further terrorist assaults.
