JETTY ALTER, 88, of Forest Hills, N.Y., died March 17, 2003. Dr. Alter graduated the University of Brussels medical school in 1941. She was a member of the Belgian under- ground during World War II. Sinai Medical School in New York City. She practiced at the Hospital for Joint Diseases and the Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. Dr. Alter is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Peter and Barbra Alter of Bloomfield Hills and Allen Alter of New York City; grandchil- dren, Daniel, Jessica and Adam Alter and Nicole and Jodi Kahrnoff; brother and sister-in-law, Joseph D. and Deborah Alstater of Woodland Hills, Calif.
