Women's Seder
Changes Format
Congregation Beth Shalom's eighth
annual Women's Seder will break its
traditional format this year to pres-
ent a redesigned event. This year's
seder will bring together women of
all generations in a spirit of renewal
under the Red Tent to celebrate
through ritual, music, dance and
learning the role of Jewish women
in our history.
The Women's Seder will be held
Monday, April 21, 6-9 p.m. at the
synagogue and- is open to all women
and school-age girls in the area,
regardless of religious or congrega-
tional affiliation.
This year's event is sponsored in
memory of Arlene Victor by her
family. She was a supporter of the
Women's Seder and she died last
year.
Reservations should be made by
April 10. The cost is $20 for adults;
$12 for girls 13 and under. 'Angels"
interested in providing additional
support\ of $36 are welcomed and
will be recognized in the program. A
vegetarian meal will be available
with advance order.

To Talk At Services
Jeremy Yoskowitz, a rabbinic stu-
dent at the Jewish Theological
Seminary of America, will address
Adat Shalom Synagogue congregants
at Shabbat services March 15.
The son of Rachel and Rabbi
Herbert Yoskowitz, Jeremy has been
active in the Conservative move-
ment since youth, having spent 20
summers at Camp Ramah in
Wisconsin.
He was a winner in the National
Bible Contest and graduated from
Washington University with degrees
in psychology and Jewish and Near
Eastern studies.
