Proud grandparents are Elaine Plotkin,
Alma and Dr. Laurence Spickler. He is
also the grandson of the late Morris
Plotkin.
Michael is a seventh-grader at
Bloomfield Hills Middle School. His
interests are competitive swimming, run-
ning and reading. His most meaningful
mitzvah projects were Pet-a-Pet and
adopting a grandparent at a nursing
home.

Out of State

Molly Rachael Stein daughter of Keith
and Barbara Stein, became a bat mitzvah
on Saturday, March 1, at Congregation
Rodeph Shalom in Manhattan. Her
brother Jonathan shared in the simchah.

and papa Fred Garon
of West Bloomfield,
Marie and Max Benson
of Florida. Molly is also
the granddaughter of
the late Dick Stein.
Molly is a student at
Rodeph Shalom. She
enjoys skiing with her
family and friends,
playing piano and doing gymnastics and
going horseback riding. She will attend
Interlochen in northern Michigan this
summer, where she will concentrate on
drawing, dance and gymnastics. Molly's
mitzvah project is soliciting help for a fos-
ter home in Israel, Neve Michael, for chil-
dren who are endangered in their own
homes.

degree in zoology at Michigan State
University. He is completing his doc-
torate in veterinary medicine.
