brunch celebration was host-
ed by her children, Elaine and Mark
Lavetter, at Chart House in Cardiff by
the Sea, Calif Friends and relatives
came from all over California to join her
and her husband, Victor, in the celebra-
tion. She takes great pride in her grand-
children, Amy and Josh Lavetter-
Keidan, Shawn and Alicia Lavetter and
Michael Lavetter; and great-grandchil-
dren, Emma Lavetter-Keidan, Shoshana
Lavetter-Keidan and Benjamin Lavetter.

harlie Friedman, formerly of
Oak Park and now of
Lauderdale Lakes, Fla., cele-
brated his 90th birthday on
Jan. 25. A brunch was hosted by his
devoted children, Eugene and Vivian
Friedman, Gil and Helene Friedman,
Elaine and Mark Lavetter. Family and
friends gathered at the home of niece
and nephew Arthur and Sharon
Distler in Delray Beach, Fla. A loving
mazel toe is extended by his wife,
