Weiss knew she had a winner.
Silver-Weiss was a member of the com-
mittee that chose performers for
ElderLink's first annual Community
Senior Variety Show of Performing and
Visual Arts, and Hoffer and his harmoni-
ca were among 15 acts
that made the cut.
The show, to take
place 1:30 p.m.
Mother's Day, Sunday,
May 11, at the Jewish
Community Center in
Oak Park, also will
include works of art
