Legendary Nights, celebrating 30 years

appearance was March 5 in a show
about the 1981 Thomas Hearns-Ray
Leonard fight. The program will be
repeated tonight, March 7, at 8 p.m.
and 12:15 a.m., Sunday at 8 a.m. and
Monday at noon and 7:30 p.m. Dr.
Kirschenbaum also appears in a pro-
gram featuring Hearns' 1985 champi-
onship bout against Marvin Hagler.
That show debuts March 26 at 10
p.m.
Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook's young
swim team has a bright future, thanks
in part to three Jewish competitors.
Freshman Gabe Schubiner recently
posted a state meet qualifying time of
57.97 in the 100 backstroke, making
him one of the state' s top freshman
