VOLUNTEER TRAINING PROGRAM.

Volunteers who participate in this training can choose to volunteer for the

JEWISH HOME & AGING SERVICES JEWISH COMMUNITY CHAPLAINCY PROGRAM.

The JEWISH COMMUNIN CHAPLAINCY PROGRAM provides religious, cultural and
practical, support to frail Jewish older adults throughout Detroit.
These sessions will train you as a PARACHAPLAIN to serve our frail Jewish older adults
living in care facilities.

Session Topics include:

• The Needs of Care Facility Residents
• The Impact of Institutionalization
• Coping With Loss
• HOW to Enhance the Jewish Care Experience:
The Paradmplain's Role
