JTS Shabbat
Jewish Theological Seminary of America
students Jeremy Gordon and Seth
Adelson will join congregants at
Congregation Shaarey Zedek Southfield
for JTS Shabbat Feb. 8.
Gordon is a fourth-year rabbinical
student at JTS in New York City. He is
a graduate of Cambridge University in
England and the Conservative Yeshiva in
Jerusalem. He has been working as a
chaplain with victims of 9-11, teaching
at the Kollel of Hebrew Union College
and running the teen program of New
York's Congregation B'nai Jeshurun.
Adelson is a fourth-tear student at the
Harvey Miller Cantorial School of JTS.
He has just returned from a mission to
Israel, where he was joined by 100 facul-
ty members and students of the semi-
nary.
Following services, the students will
be at a nosh and drosh luncheon, where
they will speak about their seminary
