Dorin Zachary
Deitch will be called
to the Torah as a bar
mitzvah on Saturday,
Feb. 1, at
Congregation Shaarey
Zedek Southfield. He
is the son of Marsha
and Jeffrey Deitch
and brother of Drake
and Dylan. Sharing in
the joy are grandparents Louise and
Hyman Pilchik and Sarah Deitch. He is
also the grandson of the late Charles Deitch.
Dorin is a seventh-grade honor stu-
dent at West Hills Middle School in
Bloomfield Hills. He has many interests,
including travel soccer, competitive ten-
nis, basketball, baseball, golf and squash.
His mitzvah projects consist of volun-
teering at Shaarey Zedek's Camp
Betman, Camp Make-A-Dream's
annual fund-raisers as well as donating
time at area nursing homes.
