Jessica Brooke Fink
will celebrate her bat
mitzvah at Temple
Israel Saturday, Jan.
25. She is the
daughter of Dana
and Dr. Eric
Coffman and
Lizbeth and Melvin
Fink. Her proud
grandparents are
Henry Baskin, Shirley and Nathan
Fink, Phyllis and Stanley Satovsky.
Her great-grandmother is Ruth
Sosnick. She is also the great-grand-
child of the late Gladys and Max
Baskin and the late Harry Sosnick.
Jessica attends Bloomfield Hills
Middle School and enjoys tennis, soft-
ball and dancing. Her most meaning-
ful mitzvah project was donating to
the Holocaust Memorial Center in
West Bloomfield.

Todd Andrew Jaffe
will be called to the
Torah on Saturday,
Jan. 25, at Adat
Shalom Synagogue.
He is the son of
Jeffrey and Laura
Jaffe and brother of
Bradley, Steven and
Emily. Proud grand-
mother is Shirley
Jaffe. He is also the grandson of the
late William Jaffe and the late Shirley
and Herman Penner.
An honor student at Warner Middle
School in Farmington Hills, Todd par-
ticipates in the band and plays on the
basketball team. He is the goalie on
the Farmington Premier soccer team,
and plays competitive tennis. He also
enjoys playing the piano. As part of
his mitzvah project, he participated in
Housing the Homeless at Adat Shalom
and volunteered at Yad Ezra in
Berkley.

called to the Torah
as a bar mitzvah on
Saturday, Jan. 25, at
Congregation
Shaarey Zedek
Southfield. He is the
son of Julie and
Michael Savin and
brother of Kimberly.
Proud grandparents
are Rosalyn and Morris Rubin and
Diane and Joseph Savin.

Jeff is an honor student at
Cranbrook Kingswood Middle School
in Bloomfield Hills. He enjoys playing
hockey and football and going skiing
and water-skiing. His favorite mitzvah
project was raising money to buy food
for the Michigan Animal Rescue
League. He also participated in the
annual fall fix-up program and volun-
teered for mitzvah projects at Shaarey
Zedek.

Emily Nicole Stern
will become a bat
mitzvah Friday, Jan.
24, at Temple Israel.
She is the daughter
of Julie and William
Stern and the sister
of Lindsay and Ari.
Her proud grand-
parents are Phyllis
and Dr. Gerald
Brickner and Sydney and Norman
Stern.
An honor student at Orchard Lake
Middle School in West Bloomfield,
Emily is a vegetarian who loves having
Sunday night dinners with her grand-
parents. Her interests are soccer, ten-
nis, ping pong, basketball and Camp
Tamakwa in Canada. Several organiza-
tions will be the recipients of her party
centerpieces, which she had created
specifically with their needs in mind.
She also helped serve food at Yad Ezra
in Berkley as her mitzvah project.

Madeline Weisberg
was called to the
Torah as a bat mitz-
vah on Saturday,
Jan. 18, at
Congregation
Shaarey Zedek
Southfield. She is
the daughter of Lori
and Steven Weisberg
and the sister of
Jessica and Matthew.
Proud and loving grandparents are
Henrietta and Alvin Weisberg and
Mary Schwartz. She is also the grand-
daughter of the late Joseph Schwartz.
Madeline is an honor student at
Hillel Day School of Metropolitan
Detroit in Farmington Hills. She is on
the varsity basketball and volleyball
teams at Hillel and enjoys spending
summers at Camp Tamakwa in
Canada. Her mitzvah projects included
volunteering at Shaarey Zedek's Beth
Hayeled and at the Beary Mitzvah
project at Shaarey Zedek. She has also
participated in the Dor L'Dor program
and is preparing for volunteer work
with Farmington Hills-based JARC.
