For 40 years, he was a psychiatrist in Pontiac and established Pontiac State Hospital HIP Unit (Hospital In-Patient Unit). He was also an accomplished singer and musician, member of Planned Parenthood and the Michigan Medical Association. Dr. Maroko fought in the Israel war for ind- pendence and led the Canadian Army High Holiday services at the end of World War II. Dr. Simon Mr. Maroko participated Maroko in the Spielberg tapes, worked on a kibbutz and graduated from medical school in Amsterdam. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Maroko; son and daughter-in-law, Eli and Beth Maroko; daughters and son-in-law, Armonite Albalak, Doris and Dr. Joshua Loew; grandchildren, Jordan, Alex and Abby Maroko, Kinneret and Alon Albalak and Justin and Nathan Loew.
