STEVEN D. GOLDBERG, 56 former Detroiter of Manchester, N.H., died Jan. 10, 2003. He served as an intelligence offi- cer with the U.S. Army during the Viet- nam era. A graduate of New Hampshire College, he received his master's degree in counseling psychology from Antioch Uni- versity Graduate School in Keene, N.H. Mr. Goldberg was a psychotherapist for the state of New Hampshire Department of Corrections and was a member of the Critical Incident Stress Debriefing Team for the state. An active member of Temple Adath Yeshurun, he was a past president of the brotherhood and the temple board of directors. He had a long involvement with youth sports through Manchester East Soccer and North Little League. Mr. Goldberg is survived by his wife of 20 years, Jeanette "Jet" (Krowlewicz) Goldberg of Manchester; children, Matthew J. and Jennifer Goldberg of Durham, N.H., Sarah E. and Nick Stavropoulos, Rebekah M. Goldberg, Elizabeth P. Goldberg, all of Manchester; a grandchild; parents, Arthur and Rose Cohn Goldberg of Murietta, Calif.; sister, Nancy Haas of Highland, Mich.; brother, Harley Goldberg of Watsonville, Calif Services at Temple Adath Yehsurun in Manchester. She taught art in the Detroit Public Schools, was a member of Na'amat, member of the Birmingham Bloomfield Art Association and a volunteer at the Detroit Institute of Arts. Mrs. Gross is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Robbin Gross of California, Dr. Jonathon and Christine Gross of Tucson, Ariz.; grandchildren, Pablo and Julia Gross. She was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Louis Gross and the late Dr. Mandell Lansky; dear sister of the late Sally Weiner. Interment at Machpelah. Cemetery. Arrangements by Ira Kaufman Chapel. DOROTHY "DOTTIE" GROSSMAN, 69, formerly of Rochester Hills of Sun City, Ariz., died Jan. 1, 2003. She is survived by her beloved husband, Melvin H. Grossman; son, Ross Lebow; Kathy Jenkins and Steven (Sandy) Grossman; eight grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Held, Lenore Applebaum; brothers and sisters-in-law, Phillip and Betty Zats, Burt Zats, Eileen Grossman, Nancy Grossman. She was the sister-in-law of the late Arnold and Nori Grossman and the late Gerald Grossman. Interment in Arizona.
