SAJE General Information
Each course consists of four sessions. Check course listings for days and times.
There are no classes the week of Feb. 24. Register by Feb. 5 to guarantee best rate.
REGISTRATION: Register in person, by mail, phone or fax. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis.
• IN PERSON: Register at the JCC D. Dan and Betty Kahn Building, Jewish Life and Learning Department or at the
Jimmy Prentis Morris Building.
• CHARGE BY PHONE: Charge your courses to VISA or MasterCard by calling the Jewish Life and Learning Department,
Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at (248) 432-5577.
• BY MAIL: Send your completed registration form and payment to the Jewish Life and Learning Department, Jewish
Community Center, 6600 W. Maple Rd., West Bloomfield, MI 48322.
• BY FAX: (VISA or MasterCard only) Fax the registration form to us at (248) 432-5552.
FEES: Course fees are $25 per course or $40 for unlimited courses in this year's SAJE program. Full tuition must accompany
all registrations. Payment may be made by check, money order or credit card (VISA or MasterCard only). Jewish educators
and professional staff of Jewish agencies and congregations may register free of charge. A processing fee of $5 will be added
to all registrations received after Feb. 5, 2003.
REFUNDS AND WITHDRAWALS: A $5 fee will be charged on all withdrawals after classes start. Refunds will be issued for
withdrawals made before class begins. If a course is cancelled, the entire tuition will be refunded.
SAJE HOURS AND LOCATIONS: Most classes are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the JCC D. Dan and Betty Kahn
Building, Eugene and Marcia Applebaum Jewish Community Campus, 6600 W. Maple Rd., West Bloomfield, and
Wednesdays at the JCC Jimmy Prentis Morris Building, A. Alfred Taubman Jewish Community Campus, 15110 W 10 Mile
Rd., Oak Park, MI. Locations for offsite courses are noted in course description. Classes will be held from 7:15 to 8:15
p.m. and 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Light refreshments will be served during the break.
CLASS CANCELLATIONS: Students will be notified in advance if the course has been cancelled. Any schedule changes will
be announced in class. In case of inclement weather, please tune to WWJ 950, WJR 760, WNIC 100.3, or call the JCC at
(248) 661-1000.
