Q: My daughter is 10 and her friend's
father recently died suddenly from a heart
attack. She is now worried something might
happen to us. How do we reassure her we
will be around a long time?

A:

Your daughter needs assurance. I find
these concerns can be best dealt with by
both of you going to your physician for
a complete physical. A good report is
"a gift that will last a lifetime."
