For 18 years she was an office manager at the law firm of Parzen & Parzen. Mrs. Parzen was a 1933 grad- uate of Northern High School, where she won a statewide typing and shorthand competition, a skill that allowed her to work and help support her family during the Depression. In 1935, she worked Anne Parzen for attorney
