Kollel Plans Bar Mitzvah Class

evenings by Rabbis Tzvi Fass and
Yossi Revach of the Kollel, Jan. 8-
April 2. •
The class will discuss the essence
and meaning of tefillin, tzadiks in
Judaism and various mitzvot.
Parents will be encouraged to par-
ticipate, and one session will be held
for fathers and sons. The
Kollel staff also will be
available to counsel and
advise prospective b'nai
mitzvah about their
upcoming sinachot and will
help in accessing a location
should one be needed.
Parents are invited to a
preliminary meeting to
learn more about the pro-
gram 7:30 p.m.

Yeshivat Akiva library,

Southfield. A bat mitzvah
program is being planned
for next winter.

Young Israel Hosts Guest Rabbi

Young Israel of Oak Park will host
Rabbi Elisha Prero the weekend of
Dec. 13-14.
Rabbi Prero, of Young Israel of
West Rogers Park in Chicago, will
speak Friday night on "A Rabbi in the
Real World: Torah, Law and Rock-
and-Roll" and on Saturday on "The
Key to Eternal Pleasure."
Saturday services will be followed

by a lunch, after which Rabbi Prero
will speak on "Revealing the Hidden,
Hiding the Revealed."
The cost for lunch is $12.50 per
adult, $5 per child or $40 per family.
Babysitting is available during the lec-
ture.
