Adam Steuer will read from the Torah
on the occasion of his bar mitzvah at
Temple Israel
Friday, Dec. 13. He
is the son of Brenda
and David Steuer
and brother of
Brandon and Jamie.
His proud grand-
parents are Marge
and Herb Rechter
and Helaine and
Arthur Steuer.
Adam attends West Hills Middle
School in Bloomfield Hills, where he
is an honor student. His interests are
sports, movies, music and going to
Camp Tanuga in Kalkaska. His most
meaningful mitzvah project was dis-
tributing food to people in need
through Yad Ezra in Berkley.

Carlee Jade Weinbaum, daughter of
Anita and Ken Weinbaum, will cele-
brate her bat mitzvah Saturday, Dec.
14, at Temple Israel. Her brothers

Bloomfield Hills are
delighted to announce the
engagement of their son
Brian Daniel to Aimee Erin Leff,
daughter of Ginny and Bob Leff of
Encino, Calif.
Aimee earned a bachelor of arts
degree in child development at
California State University,
Northridge and is teaching pre-school
at the university.
Brian graduated from the University
of Michigan with a degree in film
studies. He is an independent music
supervisor for film and television.
A February wedding is planned at
the Regency Beverly Wilshire in
Beverly Hills, Calif.

Weinbaum will
share in the sim-
chah. She is also
the grandchild of
the late Shirley
Zeppa.
Attending Abbott
Middle School in
West Bloomfield,
Carlee is interested in dancing and
horses. Her most meaningful mitzvah
project was donating to the Humane
Society.

Devon Edward Weinman will be
called to the Torah on the occasion of
his bar mitzvah
Saturday, Dec. 14,
at Temple Israel.
He is the son of
Candace Weinman
and Kevin
Weinman. His
proud grandparents
are Joan and
Edward Weinman
and Lorraine
Bentley.
Devon attends Abbott Middle
School in West Bloomfield. He enjoys
his pets and making movies. He is
very interested in flying airplanes. It
was particularly meaningful to him to
volunteer at the Holocaust Memorial
Center in West Bloomfield, where he
learned more about his heritage.
