Society honored two Michigan
residents: Michael J. Rokosz of
Birmingham received the

Dr. Norman J. Rotter, senior staff
physician at Henry Ford Hospital
in Detroit and chief of neuro-
surgery at Oakwood Hospital and
Medical Center in Dearborn, and
his wife, Harriet, were honored
with the Justice Louis D.
Brandeis Award of the Zionist
Organization of America.

Merle Harris of Bloomfield Hills
has been selected chair of the
board of trustees of Huron Valley-
Sinai Hospital by Detroit Medical
Center officials. He is former
board chairman of the Jewish
Fund, Sinai Hospital of Detroit
and Jewish Family Service.
