Alaina is a student at Hillel Day
School of Metropolitan Detroit in
Farmington Hills. She enjoys dancing,
snowboarding, reading, writing, art,
spending time with family and friends
and special times at Camp Tamakwa
in Canada.
As part of her mitzvah projects,
Alaina volunteered at Beth Ahm's
summer camp. She also participated in
the Dor L'Dor program through
Hillel, visiting seniors at the
Fleischman Residence in West
Bloomfield. She also worked at a
JARC home in Farmington Hills.

Eric Scott Guttman will be called to
the Torah as a bar mitzvah on
Saturday, Dec. 7, at
Adat Shalom
Synagogue. Sharing
in this special occa-
sion will be his par-
ents, Jay and
Barbara Guttman,
and his sisters,
Amanda and
Jennifer. Eric's
proud grandparents
are Saba Holcman and Howard and
Marian Guttman.
Eric is a seventh-grade student at
Novi Middle School. His interests
include soccer, basketball, baseball,
skateboarding and spending summers
at Tamarack Camps. His mitzvah proj-
ects included Adat Shalom's annual
housing-the-homeless project, donat-
ing to Yad Ezra in Berkley and accom-
panying his grandfather to Meals on
Wheels. He also plans to donate the
sports equipment from his center-
pieces to charity.

Aryeh Yitzchok Klein will be called to
the Torah as a bar mitzvah at services
on Monday, Dec.
9, at Congregation
Mogain Avraham,
located within
Yeshiva Beth
Yehudah. Aryeh is
the son of David
and Shari Klein.
His brothers are
Noah, Yonah, Yosef
and Levi. His very
proud grandparents are Joan and Jerry
Penfil, Jacqueline and Paul (Klein)
Drucker and Dr. Robert and Joni
Klein.
Aryeh is a seventh-grade student at
