Adat Shalom Plans
A Dreidel Dance

The Adat Shalom Synagogue family will
celebrate the sixth night of Chanukah at a
family Dreidel Dance with Star Trax 6
p.m. Wednesday,Dec. 4. A Chanukah
supper will be available for $6 per person.
Following supper, the • Chanukiah
(Chanukah menorah) will be lit, and
there will be a songfest. Star Trax profes-
sionals will then lead the group in danc-
ing. The entertainment is for children
of all ages.
In addition, there will be arts and
crafts projects, Chanukah cookie deco-
rating and a sing-along.
Chairing the evening are Norma
Dorman, Risa -Brickman, Marlene
Cohen, Debbie Lederman and
Marianne Sacks.

Lubavitch Host
Siyyum Dinner

Lubavitch Foundation of Michigan will
host a dinner and Siyyum HaRambam
Celebration, commemorating the com-
pletion of the 20th
cycle of study of the
Rambam's Mishnah
Torah.
The celebration
is 6 p.m. Sunday,
Dec. 8, at the Shul,
6890 W Maple
Road, West
Bloomfield.
Regional Lubavitch
- emissaries are spon-
soring the dinner.
Guest speaker
Rabbi Krinsky
for the evening will
be Rabbi Yehuda
Krinsky, who was appointed in 1957 to
the secretariat of the late Lubavitcher
Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneerson.
Rabbi Krinsky is board chairman of
both Merkos L'inyonei Chinuch and
Machne Israel, the educational and
social-service arms of the Lubavitch
movement.
Grisha and Eda Tsatskis, entertainers
from the former Soviet UnIon, will per-
form a musical program at the dinner.
A video presentation will be shown
with highlights of a Chasidic gathering
with the Lubavitcher Rebbe, including
special personal encounters.
