oronto-based Kids Domain
provides a huge site that
you and yours can enjoy
for lots of occasions, but
today, let's look at their Chanukah
pages.
Are you ready to spin?! Click on
"Holidays" and then "Chanukah" and
we're on our way.
Imagine that you don't know what
Chanukah is about and start with an
explanation ("About Chanukah").
The site was written by Alecia Dixon,
with credit to Rabbi Mark S.
Diamond of Oakland, Calif. Dixon
does a fairly good job of giving the
history of the holiday and discussing
its symbols and foods. The exception
is her statement that "Jewish temples
were destroyed ..." which seems to
say that there was more than one. If
you want a better history of
Chanukah, click on the link to Rabbi
Diamond.
Then baCk to the Chanukah home-
page. In- fact, the major negative
about this site is that you'll have to
always return to the Chanukah home-
page to sample other pages. One
wishes for a better navigation system.
So, return to the Chanukah home-
page to send or pick up an e-card. Or,
enjoy the "Crafts" pages. What's nice
is there are many different craft ideas
and they're rated for difficulty. Also,
you can link to other craft sites from
this page.
Back to the Chanukah homepage
to navigate to the "Clip Art" page
