What difference can having four options make?
B'nai Moshe Grows
Israel Connection
Congregation B'nai Moshe has taken
two major steps in connecting with
Israel.
In response to a speech by Daphna
Feldman, the congregation has
beconie a sponsoring entity for
Mishpacha Achat, a private organiza-
tion that aids living victims of terror
in Israel.
The congregation's family is the Ben
Aroya family of Netanya. Shimon Ben
Aroya, father of the family, was mur-
dered at age 45 in the attack on the
Park Hotel in Netanya. He is survived
by his wife, Korin, 42; children,
Sherry, 20; Hila, 13; Elad, 9. All mem-
bers of the family suffered injuries and
require medical attention to this day.
Synagogue board members have donat-
ed funds from the last two board meet-
ings, minyan members and the LIFE
program are joining in the support of
the victims of terror and several mem-
bers have expressed interest in individ-
nally sponsoring families as well.
B'nai Moshe has become a sponsor
of the ARMDI (Red Magen David
Adam) Bear-Blanket Project. Member
Anne Rottman, who is active in
ARMDI, brought the project to the
congregation. It provides bears and
blankets to children who are victims of
terror. The program allows individuals
to sponsor bears on the bimah and
was activated at the Oct. 19 bat mitz-
vah of Hannah Cohen, daughter of
Keri and Don Cohen.
