Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Samantha Amy Bruni, daughter of
Sherry and Dr. Mark Bruni, will cele-
brate her bat mitzvah during Havdalah
services Saturday, Nov. 16, at Temple
Israel. Sharing in the simchah will be
her sister Jennifer,
brother Alexander
and grandparents
Lillian and Louis
Lederman and
JoAnn and John
Bruni. She is also
the granddaughter
of the late Dorothy
Bruni.
Samantha is an
honor student at Orchard Lake Middle
School in West Bloomfield. She enjoys
dancing, watching movies and reading
books. One of her significant mitzvah
projects involved making dolls at
Hadassah to be distributed to hospital-
ized children.

Amy Elizabeth Cantor, daughter of
Joyce and Michael Cantor and sister of
Josh, will celebrate her bat mitzvah on
Saturday, Nov. 16, at Adat Shalom
Synagogue. She is the granddaughter of
Evelyn and Harold Cantor, Inez Sweet
and the late Carl Sweet.
Amy is an eighth-grade honor stu-
dent at Abbott Middle School in West
Bloomfield. She enjoys piano, art,
