The academy is a co-educational independent Jewish high school that integrates a college preparatory cur- riculum with inclusive Jewish stud- ies. Welcoming Jewish students from all affiliations and back- grounds from day schools as well as public schools, the academy now has an enrollment of 113 students, including 33 freshmen for the aca- demic year of 2002 2003. The first class will graduate in June 2003 Classes meet at the Jewish Community Center in West Bloomfield. As a constituent agency, JAMD will now submit its annual budget for review by the Federation's Jewish Education Division, which will make recommendations for alloca- tions from annual campaign funds.
