The Holocaust Memorial Center
anniversary dinner will be Sunday,
Nov. 10, at the Marriott Hotel in
Detroit's Renaissance Center.
The theme is the celebration of
building a new home, under construc-
tion at 28123 Orchard Lake Road,.
Farmington Hills. Saul Waldman,
HMC building committee chair, will
report on the new campus.
Dinner chair is Dr. Michael Treblin
of West Bloomfield of the HMC exec-
utive committee. Treblin, whose
father is a Holocaust survivor, said
that dinner guests will be treated to a
virtual. tour of the new facility, which
will include the International Institute
of the Righteous and the Museum of
European Jewish Heritage.
The keynoters are Ambassador of
Germany to the United States
Wolfgang Ischinger, who will discuss
his experience in the diplomatic serv-
ice, and Undersecretary of Defense
and CFO for the Department of
Defense, Dr. Dov S. Zakheim.
Cocktails and hors d'oeuvres will be
served starting at 5 p.m. with dinner
to follow. Tickets are $200 or $300.
