home dressed for a cocktail party ...
and bring the appetizers they would
most like to have ... It was a wonder-
ful idea ... and certainly more than
enough good food to eat from the
bountiful table.
Bob set the dress pace by wearing
the tuxedo he says he rarely wears ...
and this was a good chance to get
some use out of it.

would have been thrilled ... Almost all
the fellows wore jackets and ties ... A
couple of sweaters and no jacket
looked very much out of place ... The
girls were all striking.
A lot of dancing ... oodles of conge-
niality and laughter ... with Marilyn
and Bob making certain that their love
of fun rubbed off on everyone.
LATEST WORD IS that when the
recently sold Excalibur reopens, it may
be as a Mexican restaurant of sorts ... If
so, it would probably be as an upscale
South-of-the-Border operation.
One of the new owners, Gianni
Belsito, has the high-end Il Posto
Ristorante just north of 12 Mile ... so it
is hardly reasonable that he would com-
pete with himself ... and open another
such Italian restaurant nearby, across
Northwestern Hwy. in Southfield.
