memory of her maternal great-aunt
Eunice Zoellner and her maternal
great-great-uncle Reuben Gottlieb.

Mindi (Gold) and Dan Miller of West
Bloomfield joyfully welcome the birth
of their son, Austin Jared (Avroham
Joseph). Sharing in their joy are grand-

Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Max Abram Aidenbaum will be called
to the Torah as a bar mitzvah on
Saturday, Nov. 2, at Temple Beth El.
He is the son of
Guido and Connie
Aidenbaum and
brother of Ashley
and Whitney. Max's
grandparents are
Simon and Rose
Aidenbaum and
Constance Shoup.
He is also the
grandson of the late
Doug Shoup.
Max is an honor student at Orchard
Lake Middle School in West
Bloomfield, where his favorite subjects
are language arts and Spanish. He
enjoys playing sports, particularly ice
hockey and football. Among his several
mitzvah projects, his most meaningful
was fund-raising on behalf of Michigan
Friends of the IDF and the Israel
Emergency Solidarity Fund; to date, he
has collected nearly $1,000.

Jordan Joseph Barpal (Yarden Josef)
will be called to the Torah as a bar
mitzvah on Saturday, Nov. 2, at Adat
Shalom Synagogue. Participating in the
ceremony will be
his parents, Elissa
and Ofer Barpal,
and his sister Noga.
Proud grandparents
are Dolores Wulff,
Marvin and Darline
Leader and
Shoshana and Uri
Barpal.
Jordan is an
honor student at Derby Middle
School in Birmingham. He enjoys all
sports, especially basketball, tennis and
baseball. His contributions to the
community over the last several years
have included participation in the
Homeless Project, hosted by Adat
Shalom Synagogue; the community's
Purim Parcel Project; and visits with
residents at the West Bloomfield
Nursing Home. He will contribute to
the Israeli Defense Forces in com-
memoration of his bar miztvah.
