Kennedy Center for

law attorney practic-
ing in Franklin. She
is a former assistant
prosecuting attorney
of Oakland County,
former legal adviser
to WXYZ-TV7 and is a member of
the International Academy of
Matrimonial Lawyers.

Judge Nanci Grant, an Oakland
County circuit judge, was elected
secretary of the Michigan Judges
Association, an organization corn-
posed of all the state appellate and
circuit court judges. Judge Grant has
been the presiding judge of the
Oakland County
Circuit Court-
General Jurisdiction
Division and serves
as treasurer of the
State Bar of
Michigan Judicial
Conference
Committee. She is
Judge Grant
also a member of
the State of
Michigan Community Corrections
Board. Other board responsibilities
include the Women's Survival Center
and the Women Officials Network.

Karen Colby Weiner of Southfield
received two honors: She was
appointed to a second term on the
Michigan Board of Psychology by
Gov. John Engler and was presented
with a Meritorious Service award by
the Michigan
Psychological
Association Ethics
Committee for her
contributions to
psychology as a pro-
fession and disci-
pline.
Dr. Weiner main- Karen Weiner
tains a private prac-
tice in clinical psy-
chology and business and life coach-
ing in Southfield and is an adjunct
professor at the University of Detroit
Mercy.
