Molly Rae Varon will be called to the
Torah as a bat mitzvah on Saturday,
Oct. 26, at Temple Shir Shalom. She is
the daughter of
Laura Varon Brown
and Jeffrey Brown
and the late James
L. Varon. She is the
sister of Emma and
Jacob. Proud grand-
parents are Shaaron
Varon, Carol and
Charles Otto and
Minnie and Jerrold
Brown. Great-grandparents are Marion
and Saul Dicken. She is also the grand-
daughter of the late Jerry Varon and
the late Myrtle Otto.
Molly is an honor student at
Berkshire Middle School in
Birmingham. In June, she won the
national gymnastics title in all around
competition for level 5 girls 12-14 at
the USAIGC meet in Orlando, Fla.
Molly's love for children led her to her
most rewarding community service,
caring for children at the temple and
in the community. She has also worked
at soup kitchens and food drives.

Emily Jill Victor will be called to the
Torah as a bat mitzvah on Saturday,
Oct. 26, at Temple
Beth El. She is the
daughter of Sheryl
and Douglas Victor
and sister of Justin.
Her proud grand-

and Irvine Kaplan .

Seymour Victor.
Emily is an honor student at West
Hills Middle School in Bloomfield
Hills. She enjoys basketball, soccer,
snowboarding and attending Camp
Wahanowin in Canada. For her
mitzvah project, Emily worked at
the Tom Sawyer summer day camp
as a counselor.
