Aug. 12
Proud parents Andi and Rob Eisman
of Fenton are delighted to announce
the birth of Evan Hayden (Chaim),
little brother to Alex. He is welcomed
with love by his grandparents Harvey
and Janis Eisman of Flint, Michael
and Marilyn Hayes of Grand Blanc
and Michael Bernacchi of Huntington
Woods. Evan is named in loving
memory of his paternal great-grandfa-
thers Hyman Eisman and Earl
Roberts.

Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Kevin Michael Burnstein will become
a bar mitzvah on Friday, Oct. 25, at
Temple Emanu-El. He is the son of
Maxine and Stuart Burnstein and
younger brother of
Bryan. Sharing in
the joy are grand-
mothers Selma
Gross and Harriet
Burnstein. Kevin is
also the grandson
of the late William
Gross and the late
Harold Burnstein.
Kevin is honor student at Dunckel
Middle School in Farmington Hills,
where he is on the track team. He has
been active with the temple youth
group and has sung with the youth
choir. He enjoys music, biking, skiing,
playing with his pets and spending
time with friends at home and at
Tamarack Camps in the summer.
Kevin's mitzvah projects included
singing at senior citizen homes with a
choir, bvorking at the Dorothy and
Peter Brown Adult Day Care Center
in West Bloomfield, volunteering at
Yad Ezra in Berkley and caring for ani-
mals at a critter halfway house.

Maegan Karbal Davis will be called to
the Torah as a bat mitzvah on
Saturday, Oct. 26, at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek
Southfield. She is
the daughter of
Karen and Keith
Davis, sister of
Randi Karbal
Davis. Maegan's
grandparents are
Marilyn and Paul
