She is the daughter of Jerry and Laura Miller, sister of Sarah, granddaughter of Ed and Jean Frincke and the late Albert and Sylvia Miller. Kate is an honor student at Berkshire Middle School in Birmingham. She is a member of the school band and plays percussion. Kate's after-school activities include Hebrew school, gymnastics and being with fami- ly and friends. She also enjoys spending parts of each summer at gymnastics camp. For her mitzvah project, Kate worked with young children at Safety Town in Beverly Hills and volunteered to make American flag pins and sell them to raise money for the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund for victims of 9- 11. She will also donate her center- pieces: children's books to the Ronald McDonald House and food baskets to Yad Ezra in Berkley. .
