The successful, thriving Shomrey
Emunah that we enjoy in Southfield
today and even, to an extent, Ohel
Moed in West Bloomfield, are the
fruits of that dedication.
May Ira enjoy many years of good
health and live to see the coming of
the Mashiach.

Gilmour Coverage
Earns Plaudits

I would like to thank Copy Editor-
Education Reporter Diana Lieberman
for her well-written profile ("Married To
Ford," Oct. 11, page 38) about Allan
Gilmour's presentation as part of the
Jewish Community Center of
Metropolitan Detroit's "Hot Topics"
series and the Michigan Jewish AIDS
Coalition's ECHO series, "Being Out in
the Workplace in School and at Home."
She captured the essence of Allan's
engaging presentation and optimistic
look at corporate America for the gay
workforce. Gilmour is definitely an
excellent role model for individuals who
are climbing the corporate ladder and
happen to be gay.
ECHO (Educating our Community
about Homosexuality through
Outreach) is a program of the Michigan
Jewish AIDS Coalition.

Knowing what's
going on....

PRICELESS

We at the Jimmy Prentis Morris
• Building of the Jewish Community
Center in Oak Park want to welcome
our great benefactor, a good human
being, our own Jerry Glassman, who,
with his family, does so much for the
seniors.
We love him and he is our inspiration
to those who look forward to the yearly
affairs he sponsors. We enjoy Sam
Barnett and his music, to which Jerry
sings; the delicious desserts and the
gifts.
It's God's blessing that he does this
with a full heart.
May he be with the seniors for many
good, healthy years of blessed love from
his family.
