He is survived by his wife, Dr.

Ryann Lavelle; sons, Scott and
Myles Schuster and Gino Marra;
daughters, Heidi Schuster and Gina
Marra; sister, Sharon Rose; grand-

ESTHER ROSEN 79, formerly of
Southfield of Tamarac, Fla., died
Sept. 28, 2002.
She is survived by her husband,
Isidore; children, Daniel (Nancy)
Rosen, Charles (Helene) Rosen,
Lorraine (Steven) Gimbel; grand-
children, David and Susan Rosen.
Services were held at Star of
David Memorial Gardens in N.
Lauderdale, Fla.

JACK WINSTON, 86, of
Bloomfield Hills, died Sept. 9,
2002. He was an
executive, wine
importer and
wholesale, com-
mercial and indus-
trial real estate
broker. He was
also the co-
founder and past
president of
Jack Winston
Children's
Leukemia
Foundation, co-founder of the
Michigan Chapter on the
International Wine and Food
Society, co-founder of the Detroit
Tennis Club and a member of the
Great' Lakes Yacht Club.
Mr. Winston is survived by his
wife of 60 years, Selma Winston;
daughters and son-in-law, Judith
Diana Winston of California, Debra
Winston Levin and Robert Levin of
California; sisters-in-law and broth-
ers-in-law, Blanche Pollack, Arthur
and Shirley Pollack, Madeline
Pollack and David Finkel. He was
the loving father of the late Frances
Winston; dear brother of the late
Ann Kerner, the late Lillian
Manning and the late Maurice
Winston.
Interment at Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be
made to the Children's Leukemia
Foundation. Arrangements by Ira
Kaufman Chapel.

JEFFREY WOLFE, 38, of West
Bloomfield, died Sept. 29, 2002.
He was a steel broker and owner of
Dald Steel Company.
Mr. Wolfe is survived by his sons,
Seve Wolfe of Florida, C. Jay Wolfe
of North Carolina; mother, Elaine
Wolfe; brother, Marc Wolfe of New
York. He was the beloved son of the
late Irwin Ronald Wolfe. Interment
at Adat Shalom Memorial Park.
Contributions may be made to the
American Heart Association.
Arrangements by Ira Kaufman
Chapel.

Correction

The obituary of Mary Shapero
which ran Sept. 20 should have stat-
ed that she was born in Pittsburgh
and raised in Blairsville, Pa., and
that her grandfather Reuben
Einstein ran for Congress on the
Socialist Party ticket with Eugene V.
Debs, its presidential candidate.
