Community Inline Hockey Center Hosts Tournament The InLine Hockey Center will host a house invitational tournament Oct. 10-12. There will be separate compe- titions for seven divisions: 6 and under, 8 and under, 10 and under, 12 and under, 14 and under, 16 and under and women. Each team will consist of a mini- mum of eight skaters and a goalie; teams must show proof that they play together in a house league. There is a three-game guarantee with three, 10- minute running clock periods in each game. Points are tallied by periods; and at the end of three games, the team with the most points advances. Teams receive two points for each period won, zero points for each period lost, one point for a tied period, two points for winning the game and one point for a tie game. There will be prizes for the winners in each divi- sion. The fee is $300 per team. The IHC is in the Jewish Community Center in West Bloomfield. For information, call the IHC, (248) 432-5584. Volunteers Sought For Fall Fix-Up Volunteers are needed for Jewish Family Service's sixth annual Fall Fix Up Project from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3. Volunteers will meet at Yeshivas Darchei Torah, 21550 W. 12 Mile Road, Southfield, for breakfast, assignment, tools and supplies. This program is aimed at serving our community's homebound older . adults who are in need of minor home repairs and indoor-outdoor cleanup. Teams of volunteers will rake leaves, hang pictures, clean-organize basements, winterize windows, change light bulbs and do other minor home repairs. Micki Grossman and Mark Landau are chairs of Fall Fix Up. Sponsors include Farmer Jack Supermarkets, Franklin Bank, Murray's Ace Hardware of Redford and Providence Hospital.
