The Jewish Community Center in Oak
Park will sponsor field trips . for seniors.
A party given by Jerry Glassman and
his family will take place at the D. Dan
and Betty Kahn Building in West
Bloomfield at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 8.
The bus will leave the Jimmy Prentis
Morris Building in Oak Park at 12:20
p.m. and return at 4 p.m.; charge is $4.
There is no cost for the party, but tick-
ets are necessary.
The Janice Charach Epstein Gallery
in the Kahn Building will exhibit
"Limitless Visions: Fiber Artists Push
the Boundaries" Wednesday, Oct. 16.
The bus will leave JPM at 9:45 a.m.
and will return at 11:45 a.m. The
exhibit tour is free; bus cost is $4.
The JET Theatre at the JCC in West
Bloomfield will perform the Midwest
premiere of Tommy J and Sally on
Wednesday, Oct. 30. It is an interracial
play about a controversial celebrity held
hostage by an unbalanced fan. Tickets
are $10, payable to JET Theatre. Bus
cost is $4.
Seniors will tour old Jewish Detroit
on Wednesday, Nov. 6, with Adele
Smiler. The bus will leave JPM at 1. p.m.
and return at 4:30 p.m. Funded by the
Shirley Harris Fund for Seniors, the trip
is free, but a $2 deposit is required
when making reservations.
Heart of the Hills Players in
Rochester Hills will present a musical
review of Oklahoma! on Wednesday,
Nov 13. The bus will leave JPM at "
noon and return at 4 p.m. Tickets for
the event are $7 payable to OPC and
the cost for transportation is $4.
All five trips require reservations. For

JCC Offers
Resist-A-Ball

The Health Club at the Jewish
Community Center of Metropolitan
Detroit will offer certification courses
in yoga with Resist-a-ball and Pilates
with Resist-a-ball.
The Pilates course will take place on
Saturday, Nov. 16, 1-7 p.m. at the
JCC in West Bloomfield. The yoga
course will be Sunday, Nov. 17, 11
a.m.-5 p.m. at the same location.
These courses are open to the pub-
lic; the fee is $125 per course.
Participants should bring a bag lunch.
Reservations are required by Nov. 6;
