Rabbi Daniel Nevins will launch the
first of Adat Shalom Synagogue's lunch
and learn sessions noon-1:30 p.m.
Monday, Oct. 7.
Titled "Mitzvot HaTeluyot B'Eretz
— Commandments that Depend Upon
the Land," the series discusses legal top-
ics that affect Jewish life in the State of
Israel.
Additional sessions will meet
Mondays, Oct. 14 and 21. There is a
$10 charge for each session.

the Agency for Jewish Education in
Bloomfield Township will offer a
selection of Hebrew and Judaica
classes this fall. Classes will start
Monday, Sept. 30, at the Max M.
Fisher Federation Building.
There are Hebrew classes on
