Plans Cablecast

"B'nai B'rith Presents" will air, as
part of its "Enlighten America" pro-
gram, portions of the eighth annual
United We Walk celebration at West
Bloomfield High School on Dr.
Martin Luther King Jr. Day 2002.
The hour-length program includes
highlights of music and songs by the
West Bloomfield and Allen Park high
school choirs, readings by students
and remarks by U.S. Sen. Carl Levin,
D-Mich., and U.S. Rep. Joe
Knollenberg, R-Bloomfield Hills.
Also included is an address by WJBK
Fox2 news anchor Huel Perkins.
Dr. Michael Fowlin, actor, psychol-
ogist and poet, will repeat "Enlighten
America" presentation 7:30 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 29, at Temple Israel in
conjunction with B'nai B'rith
"Enlighten America" and Temple
Israel's Kulanu Committee.
Tickets are $50, $25, or $18 and
free for students in eighth grade and
high school when accompanied by a
paying adult. For tickets, call B'nai
